Morley's Final Catalogue: A pest in gardens. Emerges before the end of April (Platten).

Recent Suffolk Status: Very common.

Life history: Double or triple brooded. Can often be found at rest on walls and fences by day as well as at light.

Identification: Silver-ground carpet is bigger and whiter. Galium carpet has an indented costa.

Habitat: A wide variety of habitats including gardens.

Recorded in 56 (97%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1930.
